Halloween Events This Weekend in the Poconos!

On Saturday October 27th, 2012 join the Zombie Walk and Holiday of the Dead in Stroudsburg Pa at The Sherman Theater!The Zombie walk of Stroudsburg Pa begins at the Hampton Inn of Stroudsburg at 5:30 PM leading right into the zombie reception in the Sherman Theater Lobby at 6:20 PM. The following event will be the Holiday of the Dead at 7PM. The film takes place in the near possible future when a storm of events brings blood seeking zombies and martial law in America upon us.

Pub in the Pines invites you to be a part of their fantastic Halloween party this Saturday October 27th, 2012. This will take place at one of the Pocono Mountain's favorite hot spots The Jubilee Restaurant. No better way to celebrate Halloween then a Halloween party with friends and family! This is a 21 and over Halloween Bash with Great Prizes, Drinks, Free Buffet, and DJ Music.

The Fun has begun from October 1st through October 31st Sunday through Thursday at 11 Am to 9 PM and Friday and Saturday 11 AM to 10:30 PM. Fall Foliage Is a Glorious Time in the Poconos

Fall Time in the Pocono Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania is a truly glorious time of year. Of course, the Poconos is a 4 season type of region offering many different varieties of family fun and fantastic views, but there is something about Fall Foliage in the Poconos that really brings out the best of the entire region. Every Pocono Town is completely surrounded by acres and acres of Trees, Forest like settings, Pa Gamelands, and the purest beauty mother nature has to offer. The leaves of these many many trees are changing into an almost rainbow variety of different colors, and they're falling all over the place like a true Leaf Blizzard. The black bears of the Poconos are always on their way into hybernation during this time of year, but I've still seen a few in my past Autumn Seasons in the Poconos. We are currently in the middle of the best time of Fall for leaf changing colors with the peak being mid September through the end of October! The Fall Festivities have already kicked off offering a little something for everyone who is joining us in the Pocono Mountains for this Fall Season. Whether it be a horseback ride, a train ride through the region, a haunted hayride, or a simple hike or mountain bike ride with your camera ready to snap, the Pocono Mountains during Fall Foliage is the place you truly want to be. The Great Pumpkin Festival is loaded with new features, family friendly activities, and hauntingly fun filled events this year. Being bigger then ever, the largest pumpkin festival in the Pocono Mountains is back at the Country Junction in Lehighton. Concerts and Fall Festivities All October in the Poconos

Fall Festivities in the Pocono Mountains are up and going all throughout the region! We have it all here in this Fall Season of 2012 from festivals, concerts, train rides, halloween attractions, pocono resort specials, pumpkin patches, and all different styles of celebratings Fall Foliage in the Pocono Mountains. The Mountain Harvest Festival is occuring weekly on Sundays and Saturdays from 10/6/12 through 10/28/12. This Festivity has everything that has to do with Fall Season! A Tribute to the king will be happening in the Pocono Mountains from 10/19/12 through 10/21/12. In the Pocono Town of Bushkill Pa at the Fernwood Hotel & Resort, The annual Pocono Mountains Elvis Festival will be celebrated once again this Fall Season. This is a world-class event respectful to everything that Elvis stood for. Halloween in the Pocono Mountains is only a couple short weeks away. The Halloween Festivities have already kicked off with a good scare! Some of these events have become Pocono Traditions and some are introducing their very own first time Halloween Festivity to the Pocono Mountains this 2012 Haunted Season! Here's a Frightfull Fun Filled Event that will be taking the Haunted town of Stroudsburg Pa by storm this month!

 

On Saturday October 27th, 2012 join the Zombie Walk and Holiday of the Dead in Stroudsburg Pa at The Sherman Theater! The Holiday Weekend at The Sherman Theater joins other Halloween Festivities throughout the Pocono Mountains in high anticipation for the premiere of Holiday of the Dead and Zombie Walk. The Zombie walk of Stroudsburg Pa begins at the Hampton Inn of Stroudsburg at 5:30 PM leading right into the zombie reception in the Sherman Theater Lobby at 6:20 PM. The following event will be the Holiday of the Dead at 7PM. The film takes place in the near possible future when a storm of events brings blood seeking zombies and martial law in America upon us. Fall Festivities in the Pocono Mountains are up and going all throughout the region! Octoberfest and Pocono Fall Foliage Train Excursions! What has become a tradition to most strolling through one of the many regions of the Pocono Mountains is simply taking in the sights. The mountainsides and fall colors are at their peak right, and a train ride of Pocono Beauty is a perfect idea to see the Region at its very best. At the Octoberfest and Fall Foliage Train Excursion you can enjoy making your own fresh apple cider and decorate a Halloween pumpkin! Make hand-dipped candles and build your own scarecrow and dress it up in a style that’s all your own. Join the fun of potato sack races, face painting, push-that-bale race, roaming magicians, and more! Enjoy festive window paintings as well as live music and sidewalk sales along Crystal Street. Bring the whole family and enjoy a wonderful autumn afternoon at Miller Park! Holiday Celebrations in Jim Thorpe!

In the Pocono Mountains we try to cherish every second of every season. Being a 4 Season Region, The Pocono Mountains celebrates all holidays and festivities perfectly, and not a single day goes by where there aren't some festivities, celebrations, or Pocono Resort specials happening in celebration of a Pocono Tradition. Is it ever to early to get ready for the Holiday Season? Christmas in the Poconos is 2 months away, but that 2 months flies by! Everyone agrees that getting ready for Christmas starts in October as it is. There are certainly some Christmas and Holiday Celebrations going on this 2012 Holiday Season.

Jim Thorpe Pa is one of the more historic towns in the Pocono Mountains. It is also one of the hot spots for Pocono Festivities and Holiday Celebrations. In Downtown Jim Thorpe, the Celebrating of Olde Time Christmas begins December 1st and 2nd and then December 8th and 9th. Christmas is a special time of year in Jim Thorpe, and so the town will celebrate with the 2012 Jim Thorpe Olde Time Christmas Celebration. The celebration will included train rides with Santa, a live Nativity, Historic District Ghost Walks, Olde Time Christmas Arts Bazaar, gingerbread house contest, strolling carolers and musicians, expanded shopping hours, and seasonal dinner specials. If that is not enough, ticketed entertainment will take place each Saturday night of the Olde Time Christmas at the Mauch Chunk Opera House. Fall Foliage is Full of Events in the Poconos

Fall Foliage is officially here on the calender and in the air with the Beautiful weather we have been having here in the Pocono Mountains. The cool breeze is blowing and the Festivities are rolling through the region as everyone gets their fair share of Fall Foliage in this 2012 Fall Season. We here in the Poconos do Fall BIG in celebrations of Festivities, Haunted House Attractions, Concerts, and many more.

Recurring every weekend from September 21st through October 31st is the classic Hotel of Horror located in Saylorsburg Pa of the Pocono Mountains. Already going on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday this is a must for all those in the Poconos and love a good scare! There is evil lurking as Fall and Halloween inch closer and closer. There will be Three state of the art attractions located inside the Legendary Abandoned Lake House Hotel in Historic Saylorsburg, PA. Attractions include The Apocalypse, The Carnival of Armageddon, and The Exhibition Macabre. Live actors, paranormal activity and award winning lighting and sound.

The Traditional Holiday Extravaganza that always makes its way through the Northeast is coming back once again this Holiday Season! Trans - Siberian Orchestra are coming to the Northeast like they do every Holiday Season to gives their electric lightshow , rock n roll mixed with Christmas music, and a holiday season cheer. They've been coming to Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes Barre for years now, and it is a show you do not want to miss! Some are known nation wide for their scariness and frightfullness. Here's a must see Pocono Halloween Tradition in Northeast Pennsylvania!

One of the Pocono Mountains hot spots all year long is The Barley Creek Brewery in the tiny town of Tannersville Pa on 1774 Sullivan Trail. Who would have thought one of the Pocono Mountain's favorite breweries would be such a Haunted Attraction for Halloween?! The Fun has begun from October 1st through October 31st Sunday through Thursday at 11 Am to 9 PM and Friday and Saturday 11 AM to 10:30 PM. Halloween Festivities in the Pocono Mountains

Fall Foliage is officially here in the Pocono Mountains. That means the festivities are here to stay for the Fall Season, and there are certainly some Festivals that you MUST be at if you're here in the Poconos. Some of the funest parts of Fall Foliage in the Pocono Mountains are the Halloween Festivities. So many Fright Filled Festivities are happening here in the Poconos to usher in Halloween 2012!

The Old Jail Ghost Tours are set to begin October 13th through October 31st. Old Jail Tours takes place in the historic Pocono Town of Jim Thorpe Pa at the Old Jail Museum on 128 West Broadway. Tours are held every 20 minutes from 6:30 to 9:30 PM. Listen to spine-chilling tales of strange and unexplained happenings in this historic building during a candlelit tour. Hear strange voices from an empty cell, see black shadows floating past you, or even experience a tap on your shoulder from something you cannot see. These are all true experiences had by real visitors. Please keep in mind that this is not a haunted house. Be sure to bring your camera and catch a ghost.

Terror of the Mountain is another Halloween Fright Filled Festivity in the Pocono Mountains taking place at a Pocono Favorite Resort known as Blue Mountain Ski Area. Taking place today October 5th through October 28th Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7 to 10 PM. Terror on the Mountain features a haunted hayride, corn maze and a haunted lodge for five consecutive weekends. Zombie Apocalypse is the theme of Terror on the Mountain!
