Take it way back in time in this traditional Holiday Celebration in the Pocono Mountains at Quiet Valley's Historical Farm known as Old Time Christmas. Enjoy Christmas in the 1800s! Guides dressed in period clothing lead you by lantern light through the historic buildings and displays. Enjoy storytelling, Christmas Putz, Victorian skit, live Nativity, caroling, Belschnikel visit, gift shop, and much more. Hours are 3:30-7pm. Groups of 12 or more, by reservation only, from 2:30-3:30pm and can receive $1 off. Rain or shine. Annual Old Time Christmas will continue December 8-9, 2012.

Down in in Stroudsburg we get the Christmas Spirit going in November with the Pocono Famous Christmas Tree Lighting!Get into the holiday spirit at the Annual Tree Lighting in Courthouse Square. Festivities will begin with traditional Christmas carols, followed by the lighting of the tree by the Mayor of Stroudsburg. Then, to the delight of all the children, Santa Claus arrives in Downtown Stroudsburg!!

The Pocono Mountains is certainly known for its Skiing, Fall Foliage, Lakes, Hunting, Fishing, and many other things. -Continuing the Thanksgiving Eve Tradition the Dark Star Orchestra is also making their way to Penns Peak in Jim Thorpe Pa on Wednesday November 21st, 2012 at 8 PM. Dark Star Orchestra is a Grateful Dead cover band.

-Coming back to Penns Peak in Jim Thorpe is the legendary classic rock band Blue Oyster Cult. Listed on VH1 as one of the greatest rock bands of all time, they grace Penns Peak Friday December 7th, 2012 at 8PM.

- A true metal mayhem concert storming through Stroudsburg Pa at the Sherman Theater on Main Street featuring heavy metal favorites Lamb of God, In Flames, Hatebreed, and Sylosis on November 14th, 2012.

Happy Halloween to everyone in the active rain world! Truly one of the best times of year for Festivities, Parties, Candy, and Fun Times! For all the Green Day fans out there ( and i know there are many) Green Day is making their busy schedule to the Northeast at Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes Barre Pa. Green is a very influential alternative punk rock band that has sold millions of albums and has dozens of hits. Concerts and Fall Festivities All October in the Poconos

Fall Festivities in the Pocono Mountains are up and going all throughout the region! We have it all here in this Fall Season of 2012 from festivals, concerts, train rides, halloween attractions, pocono resort specials, pumpkin patches, and all different styles of celebratings Fall Foliage in the Pocono Mountains. Being a 4 season region, the Poconos celebrates all aspects of the year from ski resort specials, to spring time festivities, to summer blow outs, and our current speciality fall foliage. The Mountain Harvest Festival is occuring weekly on Sundays and Saturdays from 10/6/12 through 10/28/12. This Festivity has everything that has to do with Fall Season! Come celebrate the autumn season at Blue Mountain's Harvest Festival. This event will be held each weekend for seven consecutive weekends. Enjoy scenic lift rides, food and specialty vendors, a corn maze, haunted hay rides, pumpkin picking, painting and chuckin', plus live music, games, and amusements. This Event is surely fun for the whole Family, and it is full of Festivity!

A Tribute to the king will be happening in the Pocono Mountains from 10/19/12 through 10/21/12. In the Pocono Town of Bushkill Pa at the Fernwood Hotel & Resort, The annual Pocono Mountains Elvis Festival will be celebrated once again this Fall Season. This is a world-class event respectful to everything that Elvis stood for. Halloween in the Pocono Mountains is only a couple short weeks away. The Halloween Festivities have already kicked off with a good scare! You would never think that the Poconos had some nationwide known Haunted Attractions every year for Halloween! Some of these events have become Pocono Traditions and some are introducing their very own first time Halloween Festivity to the Pocono Mountains this 2012 Haunted Season! Here's a Frightfull Fun Filled Event that will be taking the Haunted town of Stroudsburg Pa by storm this month!

 

On Saturday October 27th, 2012 join the Zombie Walk and Holiday of the Dead in Stroudsburg Pa at The Sherman Theater! The Holiday Weekend at The Sherman Theater joins other Halloween Festivities throughout the Pocono Mountains in high anticipation for the premiere of Holiday of the Dead and Zombie Walk. The Zombie walk of Stroudsburg Pa begins at the Hampton Inn of Stroudsburg at 5:30 PM leading right into the zombie reception in the Sherman Theater Lobby at 6:20 PM. The following event will be the Holiday of the Dead at 7PM. The film takes place in the near possible future when a storm of events brings blood seeking zombies and martial law in America upon us. There will be Three state of the art attractions located inside the Legendary Abandoned Lake House Hotel in Historic Saylorsburg, PA. Attractions include The Apocalypse, The Carnival of Armageddon, and The Exhibition Macabre. Live actors, paranormal activity and award winning lighting and sound.

The Great Pumpkin Festival is loaded with new features, family friendly activities, and hauntingly fun filled events this year. Being bigger then ever, the largest pumpkin festival in the Pocono Mountains is back at the Country Junction in Lehighton. Parents enter free to the Kids Zone with treasure hunting, hay maze, and characters. The all time favorite Daytime Hayride is even longer and includes an all-new Creep Show. Kids will love the new 3-D Explosion Adventure, where they can explore the world of color and fantasy. Free petting farm, pony rides, deer petting, face painting and much more. Musicals, Concerts, and Plays at The Sherman!

The Rock Musical about the trials, tears, and exhilaration of the teen years is coming to The Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg Pennsylvania! The musical based on the 1892 German play by Frank Wedekind celebrates the unforgettable journey from youth to adulthood with a power, poignancy, and passion that you will never forget! This is a classic musical that has gained much success in theater winning itself 8 Tony Awards and being voted "Best Musical of the Year"! The musical is for mature audiences only. Tickets are $15 for seniors and $17 for adults. The Musical comes to The Sherman Theater on Main Street in Stroudsburg Pa July 6th and July 7th 2012. Come enjoy "Spring Awakening"!

This play was inspired by ancient Roman playwright Plautus (251 - 183 BC) and it tells the story of a slave named Pseudolus and his attempts to win his freedom by helping his young master woo the girl next door. This is a fun and upbeat show for the whole family. Tickets are $13 for children, $15 for seniors, and $17 for adults. From their days playing together as teenagers to their current acoustic and electric blues, it's always been about consistency in rock music with Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Cassady, the founder and continuing core members of Hot Tuna. Formerly of Jefferson Airplane, Jorma and Jack have continued on as Hot Tuna, both acoustic and electric, for years and years, bringing in new musicians but keeping their sound mostly the same. In recent years, they've brought special guests on tour, and this year's show will feature Bethlehem, PA's very own Steve Kimock, of the Steve Kimock Band and Steve Kimock's Crazy Engine.
