The World's Largest Running Series is coming to the Pocono Mountains in 2012! Each Warrior race consists of 12 obstacles along a 5-6 K course followed by a Festival complete with live music, turkey legs, beer steins, and many other interactive events. Each individual is timed and broken into 12 competitive age divisions. Come to the event in costume if you choose to! Before the race, Warrior Dash organizers provide parking on site or a free shuttle system from an offsite parking venue. Racers pick up their race packet at the designated "Packet Pick-Up Tent."
Much Entertainment is provided including live music from top 40 to rock genres. Other forms of Entertainment provided include Fireworks, Axe Throwing Contests, Chainsaw Carving Displays, and many more. There is plenty of food options that are very broad including Turkey Legs, Veggie Burgers, Pork Sandwiches, and much more. All of this fun mixed with competition is for a Great Cause providing the opportunity for event goers to donate to The Green Sneakers Foundation. This Organization helps support needs on a global scale through the reuse of of collected sneakers as affordable footwear to people in need around the globe.
