Enjoy History, Animals, and Learning in the Poconos!

Looking for a Grand Tour of a Beautiful little spot in the Pocono Mountains?! The Quiet Valley Living Historical Farms is holding The Farm Animal Frolic Day to bring some Family Fun at its very best to the Poconos. This is a wonderful event to bring the whole family to, and enjoy the animals! The Quiet Vallet Historical Farms consist of over 100 Acres of Beautiful Pocono Mountains Woods and Fields. This fun filled farm has much history to it putting on The National Register of Historic Places with some of the buildings dating all the way back to the 1700s. These buildings include farm houses, barns, cabins, and much more. Enjoy a family activity day with the animals, and enjoy a learning experience on how life was on a Rural Pennsylvania farm in the 1800s. There are a variety of animals at Quiet Valley including rabbits, goats, cows, sheep, pigs, turkeys, mule, horses, and chickens. The Quiet Valley Historical Farm grows a healthy variety of crops in the fields and gardens including flax, wheat, corn, rye, and potato. Come on down to a day full of Animals, Learning, and true Pennsylvania farm history in the Pocono Mountains this Spring!

Farm Animal Frolic Day will be held on May 26th, 2012 for baby animal visits, wagon rides, games, children shows, and sheep shearing. On May 19th, 2012 enjoy the Wildlife Program, Outdoor Bake Oven, and more. The event will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 4 PM until May 27th, 2012. Rain or Shine!
