A Little History of the Pines!

Pocono Pines is the heart land of the Pocono Mountains. Originally it was named Naomi Pines, and it some point in history it was changed to Pocono Pines. A very quiet small town located in between Mt Pocono and Blakeslee Pa, there is so much to see in Pocono Pines. Many people migrated to Pocono Pines from New York City and Philadelphia in 1902. The main thoroughfare threw the current village of Pocono Pines is route 940 on is the intersection of route 940, old route 940, and route 423. These roads take you to many different parts of the Pocono Mountains. The intersection will bring you a gas station, bar and grille, music store, and pizza shop.
