Fall Festivities at Pocono Resorts

Fall Foliage in the Beautiful Pocono Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania is in full effect. Lets begin the Fall Festivities on all regions of the Poconos until its Ski Season! Fall time brings a lot of Beautiful views and Festivals to the great Pocono Mountains. Fall is the season also leading into one of the biggest times of the year for the Poconos which is Ski and Snowboarding season at some of your favorite Pocono Resorts such as Big Boulder & Jack Frost , Camelback Mountain, and Shawnee Mountain. The Poconos already has some fun filled Festivities lined up to usher in the upcoming Fall Foliage Season!

Already being celebrated every Saturday and Sunday from September 15th through September 30th is the fun filled Mountain Harvest Festival at Blue Mountain Ski Area on Blue Mountain Drive. Come celebrate the autumn season at Blue Mountain's Harvest Festival. This event will be held each weekend for seven consecutive weekends. Enjoy scenic lift rides, food and specialty vendors, a corn maze, haunted hay rides, pumpkin picking, painting and chuckin', plus live music, games, and amusements. This is a great Fall Festivity that is fun for the whole family!

Shawnee Mountain gets into the Fall Festivities right away with the Shawnee Mountain Rodeo and Chili Cook Off. Come enjoy warm tastes at Shawnee in the perfect season for a hot bowl chili. experience the thrill of professional cowboys competing in fully sanctioned PRCA events including bronc riding, bull riding, and more. Country music, line dancing, and craft and food vendors add to the weekend festivities. Come early for the Sixth Annual Chili Cook-Off and sample some of the Pocono Mountains' finest chili. A one day ticket at the gate is $15/adult, $12/child (ages 5-12), and children ages 4 and under are free. Two day tickets at the gate are $24/adult, $24/child (ages 5-12), and children ages 4 and under are free. Advance discount tickets are available online or by calling. The festival will be held from 11:30am-5pm; rodeo at 2pm. 9/22/12 and 9/23/12.
