Spring and Summer in the Pocono Mountains is a Perfect Time to go on a little vacation with friends and family to get away from your busy lives. There is so much to do and a little something for everyone including Golfing, Boating, Fishing, and a lot more. Here are a couple Pocono Events happening this Spring and Summer.
Shawnee Fireworks Display - Shawnee Mountain Ski Area is holding its annual Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks Display, which benefits the Shawnee Volunteer Fire Company. Bring your own chair or blankets for great slopeside seating. There will be an outdoor DJ, Uncle Sam Stilt Walker, Mark Clark's All American Magic Show and various food and craft vendors. A delicious Hickory Licks barbecue is planned. The fireworks display will be at dusk, approximately 9pm, presented by the Interstate Fireworks Display Company.
Saint Patricks Day Parade at downtown Stroudsburg. Enjoy 90-100 marching units approx eight bands leading the eight divisions of non-profit groups, politicians, and local businesses marching between two boroughs to celebrate the life and good works of St. Patrick of Ireland with a grand Marshall who exhibits the similar characteristics.
