Some Fun Events At Big Boulder & Jack Frost Mountain!

Here in the Pocono Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania we have some of the funnest Resorts that you could find. Winter time in the Poconos means Skiing, Snowboarding, Tubing, Ice Fishing,and many other Winter Sports that brings the crowds from all over the country to our Beautiful little spot on this Mountain in the Northeast. Jack Frost Mountain & Big Boulder Resort are two of our most visited Resorts in the Poconos! It is truly a Winter Wonderland. Here are some fun events coming up at Jack Frost and Big Boulder!

Live Entertainment at the T Bar in Big Boulder throughout the month of February 2013. Many fun acts including UUU, Mother Nature's Sons, YMI, Pair of Nuts, Goodman Fiske, and UUU Duo.

 

Big Boulder Park will be throwing a Wing Bowl. They are partaking in the Wing Bowl of Philadelphia on February 1st, 2013. That's this Friday!

 

Race Day at Jack Frost will be racing against other areas on February 9th, 2013.

Pocono Winter Festivities At Masthope Mountain

We are known for many things here in the Beautiful Pocono Mountains, but Skiing, Snowboarding, Tubing, and winter time fun seems to be everyone's personal favorite when it comes to Pocono Living. The Pocono Ski Resorts host many different Winter Sports Fun Festivities all winter long! A very fun part of celebrating Ski Season in the Pocono Mountains is the Pocono Favorite Winter Carnival at Big Bear on Masthope Mountain in Pike County. All kinds of winter fun is to be had! Hit the snow for a fun day filled with ski races, big air competition, rail jams, an all day scavenger hunt and lunch tray races. Head to the rental shop for a free wax and sharpen; or visit the lodge for raffles, live entertainment, and more. The event will be held from 9am-4:30pm. The Rail Jams will begin at 1pm and there is a $5 entrance free. The Race Program will be held from 2-4pm. This event is still quite awhile away taking place on January 27th, 2013, but it is not too far away to start planning to attend this Winter Time Favorite in the Pocono Mountains!

Come Get Some Snow Here in the Poconos!

Here in the Pocono Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania we have been preparing ourselves for our favorite time of year not only for us, but it is the favorite season for all of the Pocono Tourists who flock here. Jack Frost Mountain - provides an Inviting Ski Area with a Summit Elevation of 2000 feet, Base Elevation of 1400 feet and Vertical drop of 600 feet. 21 different slopes to include: Ski School Learning Slope, 4 Easiest (beginner slopes, 6 More Difficult (intermediate slopes), 8 Most Difficult (advanced slopes) and 2 Terrain Parks. There are 9 lifts: 1 quad, 2 triples, 6 doubles and 1 ski carpet (used for kids lessons only).

 

The Snow is here to stay with 2 snowfalls in one week both together giving us about a foot of snow. The Ski Slopes are open, and they're here to stay for the rest of the Winter Season!
