Happy 4th of July to the Land of the Free!

Today is the day The United States of America commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independance which happened this day in 1776. It is important for all Americans to remember when the Greatest Country in the world began, and to remember the Brave Ones who were there. So on this day of history while you're picnicing, having a barbecue, lighting off fireworks, having a family reunion, or drinking a cold one, remember the day the Second Continental Congress voted to approve a Resolution of Independance. None of our celebrations, or anything in America would be possible if it weren't for The Great Americans that came way before us.

Independence Day in the Pocono Mountains is certainly one of the BEST Times to be in the Area. The pure site of the fireworks going off all day and night setting bright lights to the clear Mountain skies over the Glorious Mountainsides and Crystal Clear Lakes and Creeks. 4th of July is one of the most important times of our country, and we gather every year to celebrate the Spirit of America. Hawley Pa is located in the Wonderful Northeastern Pennsylvania Pocono Mountains, and it takes pride in its country on 4th of July. Come down this 4th of July, and make memories with family and friends on the shores of Lake Wallenpaupack. This celebration will include your favorite 4th of July Holiday foods and fun such as Sparklers, Hotdogs, Corn on the Cob, Picnics, and of course Fireworks! This event will have a local Pocono Mountain radio station sponsoring the event with great tunes. You will be able to tune into 105.3 Bolg Gold Media Classic Hits on your boat, in the stands, or in your car. This event will take place right next to The Wallenpaupack Area High School, and on the shores of Lake Wallenpaupack at approximately 9:15 PM. Parking will be available in the High School parking lot. Why not bring your loved ones to the Pocono Mountains this 4th of July, and have yourself a Perfect Pocono Celebration of America!

Happy Independance Day to my brothers and sisters who live in the Land of the Free!
